Remember my idea about the ideal mate template? Well this guy has taken that to the extreme. His very selective Qualification/Disqualification List is just for starters: with his suave one-liners such as “Do not fall in love with me until I say so” and “You must be a mail-order type of bride”, coupled with the mush of his Interview Process, he’ll surely charm you off your shorts. Twice.
On a more serious note, I can’t help but wonder why something like this happens on the internet; creepy posts declaring the search for undying love. It is as if they believe that by listing down all the attributes of their perfect mate, the universe would suddenly magic their dream gal/guy on a silver platter.
On the other hand, maybe it is all just about social perception: All of us have our own ideal mate templates, each very selective and “perfect” for us but it has to be kept secret and away from public view, otherwise it would be a bit.. eccentric.
Something to think about, I guess.
*Not that I’m good a this but I think it’ll do him good to thin down his text and put some more pictures or other tangible stuff about his life. The only thing he’d snag with that post is a lovelorn vacuum cleaner.*
